The support you’ll receive

You will be assigned two supervisors during your internship:

  • Your personal internship supervisor has a background in social work, project management and the social sector, and will meet with you once every two weeks (online mainly) to discuss practicalities and help you wherever you need.
  • Your clinical internship supervisor is a clinical psychologist and will guide you with your cases during your internship during supervision every two weeks (online and in-person)

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to work with other team members as well (including psychologists, managers, designers and other professionals from the nonprofit sector) at different locations (offline and online).

Important additional information

Iguality is a small and young organisation, and for now built on the dedication of volunteers. We can offer a great learning opportunity, but we don’t offer a regular internship experience with a daily work routine in an office.

A fairly large part of the work will be carried out online (apart from counselling), and meetings with other team members will be partly based on how proactive you will be yourself. This requires a lot of independence, but you will also learn how to work flexible hours and create your own work routine.

It’s also important to know that as volunteer-run organisation, we will ask you to have Erasmus+ or other internship/traineeship funding to make your stay in Barcelona possible.

Applying

If you have read all the requirements, and you are truly interested to dedicate yourself to Iguality on a fairly independent basis, you can apply through the button below.

The outcome of your application will be communicated within 1 month. Please note that due to a high amount of applications, we won’t always be able to give you personal feedback on the outcome of the selection process, but we will always let you know if you have been selected or not.
