Mark your calendars for Saturday, 28th of September 2024, as Sant Celoni becomes the starting point for a journey of mental health awareness and friendship. The Ride for Iguality ’24, organised by Iguality itself and our partners, promises a day filled with scenic cycling routes through the beautiful Montseny mountain range. But this event is much more than just a ride; it’s a collective effort to raise awareness about mental health issues and support our work in psychosocial support.

Cyclists of all levels are invited to participate in this meaningful event, with four distinct routes designed to match with different skill levels. Whether you’re a semi-beginner or an experienced rider seeking a challenge, there’s a route for you, starting from 50KM, up to 200KM. From the breathtaking views of “Meeting Montseny” to the ultimate test of endurance in “Mastering Montseny,” each route offers its own mix of beauty and excitement.

But the Ride for Iguality ’24 isn’t just about cycling; it’s about coming together as a community to make a difference. Participants have the option to extend their stay and enjoy the serene surroundings of Rural Montseny in Gualba for the whole weekend (27-29 of September). It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists and supporters in a relaxed setting, all while supporting Iguality and free mental health care.

“The Ride for Iguality is more than just a cycling event. It’s a moment to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, and bring people together to openly talk about mental wellbeing.”

Vincent, Organiser of the Ride for Iguality ’24

Registration for the event is entirely free, with the only costs included for accommodation for those opting for a weekend stay (only 80 EUR for the whole weekend). And for those cyclists who wish to contribute further, there are opportunities to raise donations through GoFundMe, or to donate themselves and in return receive the official Ride for Iguality ’24 jersey!

Many participants are also joining as representatives from their company, like Irina in the picture of Iguality’s partner Global M with the branded Iguality/Global M jersey. | Picture by Iguality

But the impact of the Ride for Iguality ’24 extends beyond individual participation. Companies are encouraged to get involved by sponsoring the event or sending volunteers to support various aspects of the day. From video makers to event volunteers, there’s a role for everyone to play in making this event a success.
