Introduction
Iguality is a young but ambitious non profit organisation that offers free mental health care to marginalised communities such as refugees, migrants, LGBTQ individuals and others at risk of social exclusion. We take great pride in having supported over 50 individuals through more than 800 hours of psychosocial support sessions since August 2022, made possible by an amazing network of volunteer therapists.
Yet, we’re aiming to grow. At the moment we are 100% volunteer-run, but we have secured a budget to hire a part time Fundraising Officer, to start with a three-month freelancing contract for 10 hours per week but with the aim to extend to 6 months, and if possible, work towards a long-term working relationship depending on the fundraising outcomes. First and utmost we’re looking for a passionate individual that despite the part time dedication will care about their work with us and feel connected to our cause.
A quick summary of the practicalities:
🏠 Remote position (but ideally based in Catalonia)
👩💻 Freelance position (monthly invoicing to our Spanish entity)
📅 3 months, extendable to 6 (to begin with)
🕒 10 hours / week (100% flexible working hours)
🗣️ English, but Spanish and/or Catalan a strong plus
💰 Hourly compensation of €24 (€960 on your monthly invoice)

- Meet remotely with our director on a weekly basis for reporting purposes (30-60m)

- Be integrated in our team and – within the contract limits – support our overall work
