We are a nonprofit organisation providing free mental health care to communities at risk of social exclusion in Barcelona and beyond.
Our goal: filling the gap in the mental health care system
Up to 40% of people* experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives — in Spain and around the world.
While mental wellbeing is a basic human right, public systems are overwhelmed and lack the capacity to provide inclusive, community-based care.
As a result, inclusive mental health support remains out of reach for many — especially those at risk of social exclusion.
At Iguality, we respond to this gap by offering free mental health care services and activities, to foster positive wellbeing, social belonging and public awareness.
