Our insurances

In Spain, non-profit associations are regulated by Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, which establishes that they are entities with limited liability, that is, their assets are separated from those of the partners. However, this does not exempt associates from responding to damages that may be caused to third parties. Because of the above and because of our own strong belief that we need to create the safest and most secure environment possible for our members, volunteers, staff and anyone else involved in Iguality in any way, Iguality has various insurances through our partner Asegurados Solidarios.

General Civil Responsibility

The annual civil liability insurance of your association protects the entity against claims it suffers as a result of damages caused to third parties by volunteers, workers or partners who participate in its activities, including legal defense, judicial bonds and even compensation. It also guarantees civil liability for bodily harm of which the participants themselves may be victims derived from the use of the premises, the facilities and the activities organized or controlled by the entity. The activities carried out by the association provided for in the Statutes or those resulting from the fulfillment of the purposes of the association are covered, regardless of the place where they are carried out. It covers events on public roads and closed venues with a capacity of up to 500 people. Locative coverage is included, understood as that which for the Insured is derived from his condition as tenant of the building in which his activity is carried out, against the owner of the same and provided that the damage to said building is a direct consequence of: fire, explosion, water action.

Seguro De Responsabilidad Civil Junta Directiva Y Administradores

D&O insurance provides coverage for legal expenses necessary for legal defense in advance, as well as possible compensation and bonds that Directors, Senior Officers and Executives may have to pay, provided that no malicious behavior has been demonstrated. . The Directors can be claimed for their functions in the management of the company, for the breach of a duty or an obligation, for any negligence or error or omission, for erroneous and inaccurate statements as well as for improper employment practices. Faced with a demanding regulatory environment and an increase in claims arising from the negligent actions of administrators, D&O insurance is the most effective way to protect yourself against claims against injured third parties.

Seguro de accidentes de los voluntarios

It guarantees direct compensation in the event of death and disability and health care expenses in the event of an accident. In addition, the risk is included. They are safe and unnamed. The territorial scope of coverage can be national and international.
