Option 2

Group Support

Join structured group sessions led by qualified professionals in a safe, supportive space – combining therapeutic activities with peer connection to explore feelings, build resilience, and find mutual understanding.

Yoga

Gentle stretches, movement, and breathing to balance your body and mind, helping you relax and improve your overall wellbeing.

Art Therapy

Use painting or clay to express yourself creatively, then share and reflect on your experience with the group.

Mindfulness

Option 3

Social Companionship

Be paired one-on-one with a Companionship Volunteer – someone to share time with, explore new things together, and help you feel more connected to the world around you. A light, human service for anyone feeling isolated or alone, whatever the reason.

A Person to Share Things With

Meet regularly for a coffee, a walk, or an activity you both enjoy. Your companion is simply someone to spend time with – no pressure, no agenda, just genuine connection.

Someone to Help You Navigate Daily Life

Whether it’s understanding local culture, finding your way around, or simply having someone to ask when things feel confusing – your companion is there for the everyday things too.

A Step Towards Finding Your Community

Through your companion and our group activities, you’ll gradually build a social network and feel less alone – at your own pace and in your own way.

Useful information

  • Please note that Social Companionship is not a mental health service. If you are struggling with your mental health, we recommend exploring Individual Therapy or Group Support on this page.
  • Social Companionship is a new programme and we are still growing our volunteer team. It may take some time to find the right match, but we warmly invite you to apply and we will be in touch as soon as we have a good fit for you.
