For whom is our support?
We aim to support anyone at risk of social exclusion in or around Barcelona, and who cannot access professional mental health care through private or public health services due to insufficient economic resources, limited availability and/or lack of documentation, including but not limited to:
Refugees and migrant communities
LGBTQ+ communities
Vulnerable youth
Victims of domestic violence
Others at risk of social exclusion

Important information
Before requesting our support, please ensure you have read the above, and that you also meet the following minimum requirements:
You’re older than 18
You don’t have any other option to receive mental health care
You’re motivated to receive support and willing to dedicate to the process
You’re located in or around:
- Barcelona, Spain
- Athens, Greece
Exceptions:
There are some specific situations in which we can’t offer support:
Cases of strong psychiatric disorders
Cases of violent (verbal or physical) behaviour
Cases of disinterest in the offered support

Additional eligibility information
- If someone is considered not to be eligible to the services of the program, we will always try to send alternative options to receive support.
- Our acceptance criteria may vary over time, as we prioritize and accept support requests based on our current availability, overall program demand and the existing waiting list.

Individual Therapy
Receive personalised one-on-one support from a qualified volunteer therapist in a safe, confidential space – a structured clinical service for people navigating emotional difficulties, mental health challenges, or difficult life experiences.
Understand Your Feelings
Explore and figure out why you feel the way you do. We help process tough emotions so they feel less confusing.
Have Someone to Talk To
A safe, confidential space where your therapist listens without judgment, helping you feel truly heard and understood.
Find Ways to Feel Better
Discover simple, practical tools to cope with stress, change habits, and take clear steps toward feeling happier and stronger.

Group Support
Join structured group sessions led by qualified professionals in a safe, supportive space – combining therapeutic activities with peer connection to explore feelings, build resilience, and find mutual understanding.
Yoga
Gentle stretches, movement, and breathing to balance your body and mind, helping you relax and improve your overall wellbeing.
Art Therapy
Use painting or clay to express yourself creatively, then share and reflect on your experience with the group.
Mindfulness
Discover practical techniques to stay calm, focused, and present, helping you manage stress and improve daily wellbeing.

Our care in Athens, Greece
Through our Erasmus+ collaboration with the Athens Network of Collaborating Experts (ANCE), we are currently piloting a new initiative that provides remote mental health support to refugees and migrants living in Athens.

Social Companionship
Be paired one-on-one with a Companionship Volunteer – someone to share time with, explore new things together, and help you feel more connected to the world around you. A light, human service for anyone feeling isolated or alone, whatever the reason.
A Person to Share Things With
Meet regularly for a coffee, a walk, or an activity you both enjoy. Your companion is simply someone to spend time with – no pressure, no agenda, just genuine connection.
Someone to Help You Navigate Daily Life
Whether it’s understanding local culture, finding your way around, or simply having someone to ask when things feel confusing – your companion is there for the everyday things too.
A Step Towards Finding Your Community
Through your companion and our group activities, you’ll gradually build a social network and feel less alone – at your own pace and in your own way.
