Published on October 9, 2024
Iguality, our non-profit organisation dedicated to providing free mental health care to marginalised communities, is proud to announce its participation in the Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon. Representing the organisation at this prestigious event will be its Founder and Coordinator, Vincent van Grondelle. Iguality will also host a workshop titled: “Using Tech & AI to Make Mental Health Care Accessible to All”.

Written by Vincent Simon van Grondelle

The workshop will explore how emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) can create scalable and sustainable mental health care solutions. The session is designed for a wide audience, including companies, non-profits, and individuals who are keen to explore how tech-driven solutions can amplify social initiatives and drive meaningful impact.

  • Workshop Highlights:
  • Innovative Approaches: Iguality will share its unique model for leveraging technology and AI to provide free, accessible mental health services, particularly for underrepresented and marginalised communities.
  • Collaborative Opportunities:
  • Attendees will gain insights into how cross-sector collaboration between corporates and non-profits can enhance the effectiveness of CSR programmes and social initiatives.
  • Practical Applications:
  • The workshop will offer actionable strategies for individuals and organisations to implement tech-driven solutions in their own mental health and social impact projects.

Vincent van Grondelle, Founder of Iguality, says:

“At Iguality, we believe that mental health care should be a basic right, not a privilege. By harnessing the power of technology, we are able to bring these vital services to communities who need them the most, at a scale that was previously unimaginable. We are excited to share our approach at the Web Summit and to collaborate with other organisations and companies to drive global impact.”

Iguality is a non-profit organisation committed to offering free mental health care to individuals from marginalised communities. By using innovative technology, Iguality works to bridge the gap in mental health services and ensure that everyone has access to the support they need.

Web Summit is one of the world’s largest tech conferences, gathering industry leaders, policymakers, startups, and non-profits to discuss the future of technology. This year’s event will take place from 11 to 14 November 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal, attracting over 70,000 attendees.
