Budget & Financial Constraints

The programme is built around accessible, low-cost connection. Free activities - open museums, walks, parks - are always encouraged.

When there are costs involved:

• Ideally, each person covers their own share
• As a Companionship Volunteer, you should never pay for your Buddy
• If your Buddy is not in a position to contribute financially, a budget request form can be submitted to Iguality - up to €15 per activity, though we always try to keep it lower to support as many pairs as possible
• No payments or gifts between pairs, with the exception of small food exchanges (bringing homemade food, sharing a meal, etc.)
