Usage of AI

Last updated: April 27, 2025 at 08:14

At Iguality, we are committed to ensuring the highest standards of privacy and data protection. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our services, we have incorporated AI technologies in collaboration with Airtable. Below, we outline how we use AI, the measures we take to protect your data, and our commitment to ethical AI usage.

1. AI Usage Overview

Through Airtable, we utilise AI to summarise screenings, track case progress, and process other relevant data. This helps us improve efficiency and allows us to focus more on providing direct care.

2. Anonymisation of Data

All data processed by AI is anonymised. If inclusion of names is necessary, only first names are used. Otherwise, terms such as 'patient', 'user', or 'volunteer' are employed to protect individual identities.

3. External AI Services

Airtable employs external services, specifically AWS and OpenAI, for their AI functionalities. It is important to note that Airtable does not use AI-generated data to improve or feed their AI system.

4. Ethical AI Usage

We adhere to strict ethical guidelines in our AI usage:

  • AI-generated data is never used to make final decisions. All AI insights are thoroughly reviewed against original data, and where necessary, verified with the individuals involved.
  • Our use of AI is driven by a clear advantage in terms of time-saving and efficiency. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by limiting AI usage to situations where it directly benefits our care provision.
