Associació Iguality becomes Official Nonprofit Partner of GlobalGiving

As of August 2026, we're proude to share that Associació Iguality is fully vetted as a trusted organisation working on free psychosocial support and community programming for people at risk of social exclusion in Barcelona and Catalunya.

August 5, 2026, Barcelona - Associació Iguality Lab i Comunitat (Iguality) announced today that it has become an official nonprofit partner of GlobalGiving after completing its Pathway program and undergoing an extensive vetting process.

GlobalGiving is the first and largest worldwide fundraising community for nonprofits, donors, and companies. Through access to funding, tools, training, and one-on-one support, they support community-driven organisations like Iguality in hundreds of communities around the world, creating a virtuous cycle of good.

Each year, thousands of organisations from around the world apply to become official partners of GlobalGiving by completing the Pathway program, a community learning experience designed by existing GlobalGiving nonprofit partners to help organisations get fundraising ready.

This partnership will enable Iguality to strengthen and grow across all of its programmes, from psychosocial support and Social Companionship to its sports and social belonging activities and advocacy work.

Associació Iguality Lab i Comunitat is a Barcelona-based nonprofit providing free psychosocial support and community programming to people at risk of social exclusion, including refugees, migrants, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and people facing economic hardship. Founded in 2022, Iguality works across three pillars: mental health and psychosocial support delivered through a volunteer therapist network and Social Companionship programme; sports and social belonging activities such as street football, running, hiking and cycling; and advocacy and awareness raising. Its programming reaches people in person in Barcelona and across Catalunya, and online across Spain, supported by a team of freelance coordinators and a volunteer base of 60 to 80 people.
