Iguality is excited to announce our participation in EuroPride 2025, which will be held in Lisbon from June 14 to 22. This event is a significant gathering for the LGBTQIA+ community, offering a platform to celebrate diversity and advocate for human rights. We are particularly looking forward to the Human Rights Conference, scheduled for June 19 and 20 at the historic Cinema São Jorge. This venue, known for its cultural significance, will host discussions on pressing issues such as extremism, disinformation, migration, and safety, all through the lens of human rights.

Our representative, Caroline Erize, will be speaking at the session titled “Minority Stress: Mental Health in the LGBTQIA+ Community” on Thursday, June 19. This important conversation will explore how stigma, discrimination, and exclusion impact the mental health of LGBTQIA+ individuals. It will emphasize the need for culturally competent support systems that recognize the intersectional and layered experiences of our communities.

We are honored to be invited and hosted by the EuroPride team and are eager to contribute to these vital conversations. EuroPride 2025 promises to be a powerful platform for amplifying voices, celebrating identities, and defending fundamental human rights for all. We look forward to engaging with activists, leaders, and experts from across Europe to reflect on and address the challenges facing the LGBTQIA+ community today.
