You’re not just here to support others—we’re here to support you. Volunteering should feel fulfilling and sustainable, not overwhelming. If something affects you emotionally, or you simply need to debrief, you can always reach out to the General Coordinator or members of the Safeguarding Committee.
We’ll check in with you regularly through WhatsApp or occasional group meetings to share reflections, offer feedback, and hear your input. You’re part of a team—and building a sense of community among volunteers is just as important as supporting participants.
To avoid burnout:
- Don’t overcommit—choose a rhythm that works for you.
- Share tasks and responsibilities with others.
- Celebrate small wins and moments of connection.
- Take breaks when needed, and always feel free to step back temporarily if life gets busy.
