Care Guidelines
At Iguality, we prioritise both the well-being of our clients and our team. We encourage everyone to take care of themselves to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Take Breaks!
As outlined in our Code of Conduct, breaks are an essential part of your daily work. While your workload may vary, and some tasks may require longer breaks, we always try to be flexible. If you need more time to recharge, don't hesitate to ask your coordinator.
Take Holidays!
We encourage everyone to use their annual leave. Overworking is common in the non-profit sector, but we aim to prevent burnout. Plan your holidays carefully, and discuss your plans with your team so that we can ensure everyone gets the rest they need.
Give Feedback!
Feedback helps us grow and improve. Don’t hesitate to give constructive feedback to your colleagues or the Iguality management team. If you’re uncomfortable giving feedback alone, team up with a colleague. Open communication is key to making Iguality a better place for all.
Take Care of Yourself!
Your well-being is important to us. Here are a few simple recommendations to help you feel your best at work:
- Eat healthy: Nutrition impacts your mental and physical performance.
- Talk about your feelings: Open up about any struggles you’re facing.
- Stay active: Regular exercise can greatly improve your mood and productivity.
- Sleep well: Aim for at least 7 hours of sleep each night.
- You’re always welcome to ask the team for advice on how to maintain a healthy work-life balance. While we aren’t psychologists or coaches, we are happy to share personal tips and provide support where we can.
Go Offline!
When you are off work, disconnect completely. This is vital for maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
- Mute Slack.
- Mute Iguality WhatsApp groups.
- Turn off email notifications.
- Let your colleagues know when you're off so they don't disturb you with work-related matters.
