Why this event?
To support our organisation in managing and carrying out its activities, Iguality is organising the Vuelta de Iguality, a unique and challenging Cycling Fundraiser in which the participants ride between 85 and 200 kilometers straight through the Montseny mountains.
Each rider is collecting donations to motivate their effort, which goes directly to the fieldwork of Iguality. Will you ‘sponsor’ one of our cyclists for their effort?
What does Iguality do, and why?
Access to mental health care in Spain and Catalonia is limited, especially for refugees and migrants who often cannot afford private care or find specialised services. Long waiting lists, a shortage of professionals, and language barriers further restrict access, worsening conditions for those in need.
Iguality addresses this by offering free mental health services, supported by volunteer therapists who provide weekly sessions. By focusing on marginalised communities, Iguality ensures accessible, specialised care for those unable to receive help elsewhere.
Making a donation
You can ‘sponsor’ a cyclist for their fantastic effort, which means that you will donate directly to Iguality. You can either make a general donation, or select a specific participant that you are supporting.
Your donation will be used directly by Iguality to reach even more people with free mental health services.
