Consecuencias del incumplimiento
Violations of this Code of Conduct will be taken seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the breach, Iguality may take actions including:
- Issuing a warning or requiring further training.
- Suspending or removing individuals from their role or participation in activities.
- Ending contractual, volunteer, or partnership agreements.
- Referring serious incidents to the relevant legal or regulatory authorities.
All reported concerns will be addressed promptly, confidentially, and in accordance with Iguality’s Safeguarding and internal procedures. Depending on the severity of the issue, non-compliant behaviour will result in one of three levels of consequences:
Level 1: Mild
Behaviour that isn’t necessarily harmful to others but disrupts daily work or interferes with activities.
Examples include:
- Being regularly late
- Not taking care of materials or activity spaces
- Refusing to carry out assigned work without justification
Consequences may include:
- Verbal warning
- Note in case of repeated behaviour
Level 2: Serious
Behaviour that may harm others, or strongly disrupts the functioning of our activities or team environment.
Examples include:
- Ongoing repetition of Level 1 behaviour
- Disrespect toward others
- Continuous refusal to engage in assigned work without justification
Consequences may include:
- Verbal and written warning
- Exclusion from participation in Iguality’s activities
Level 3: Severe
Behaviour that directly harms others or puts Iguality at reputational, legal, or organisational risk.
Examples include:
- Any form of harm or abuse
- Any breach of the Safeguarding Policy or other policies
- Theft or misuse of resources
- Racism or any other form of discrimination
- Other serious violations of ethics or safety
Consequences may include:
- Temporary (unpaid) suspension
- Termination of volunteer or employment relationship
- Reporting to legal or regulatory authorities
