Мета та сфера застосування
This Conflict of Interest Policy aims to ensure that board members, employed staff, and freelancers of Iguality are committed to conducting themselves with integrity and transparency. The policy outlines how conflicts of interest should be identified, disclosed, and managed to preserve the trust and confidence of the organisation’s stakeholders, and to comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Scope
This policy applies to the following groups within Iguality:
- **Board Members: **Individuals who are part of the Board of Directors, providing governance, strategic oversight, and decision-making for the organisation. Board members are responsible for ensuring the organisation remains aligned with its mission and complies with legal and ethical standards. They serve in a voluntary capacity and do not receive remuneration for their board duties.
- **Employed Staff: **Individuals employed by Iguality, including full-time, part-time, and temporary employees. These individuals are directly responsible for implementing the organisation’s operational activities, managing day-to-day functions, and fulfilling organisational goals in line with their job descriptions.
- Фрілансери: Individuals who provide specific services or expertise to Iguality on a contract basis, typically for a fixed period or for a particular project. Freelancers are not employees but are engaged to support the organisation’s work as needed, usually for specialised tasks that require temporary or ad hoc expertise.
While volunteers are not explicitly included in this policy due to the specific nature of their role, they are still expected to adhere to the same high ethical standards as set out in this policy. Volunteers should maintain transparency and disclose any conflicts of interest that could affect their involvement with the organisation.
