Our Core Principles

All members of the Iguality community are expected to:

  • Uphold Iguality’s Values:

    • Justice: Advocate for a world where everyone is valued, respected, and treated fairly.
    • Diversity: Celebrate and embrace the richness that different backgrounds, identities, and experiences bring.
    • Integrity: Act with honesty, transparency, and accountability in all interactions and responsibilities.
    • Empathy: Listen with understanding, value different perspectives, and act with compassion.
  • Promote a Safe and Respectful Environment:
    • Treat every individual with kindness, dignity, and respect.

    • Maintain professional and appropriate boundaries at all times.
    • Never engage in bullying, harassment, discrimination, abuse, or exploitation.

    • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately (see our Safeguarding Policy).
    • Respect confidentiality, unless a disclosure is necessary to protect someone from harm.
  • Communicate Responsibly:
    • Engage in clear, respectful, and thoughtful communication, both in person and online.
    • Protect the privacy of others and avoid sharing confidential information without permission.
    • Refrain from spreading misinformation or engaging in harmful conversations.
  • Act Ethically and Responsibly:
    • Represent Iguality’s mission and values positively in all contexts.
    • Use resources thoughtfully and sustainably.
    • Declare any conflicts of interest that could impact your role or decisions.
