Iguality conducts screening of all individuals and entities with which it engages to ensure compliance with applicable ethical and legal standards. This screening is an essential part of the organization’s commitment to responsible and transparent operations, protecting the organization from legal, financial, and reputational risks.

Screening applies to all contracts, grants, donations, and collaborations, and includes the following categories:

  • Suppliers and contractors: Screening verifies that suppliers and contractors do not present legal, financial, or reputational risks. This includes ensuring that they comply with applicable laws, operate ethically, and maintain sound business practices.
  • Volunteers and staff: All individuals involved in Iguality’s programs are screened to confirm they meet ethical and legal standards and pose no risk to the safety or wellbeing of participants and the organization.
  • Donors and funders: Contributions are assessed to ensure that funds come from sources aligned with Iguality’s values, do not support harmful activities, and comply with sanctions or regulatory restrictions.
  • Partner organizations and institutions: Screening ensures that all partners, including NGOs, governmental bodies, and other institutions, align with Iguality’s ethical commitments, operate transparently, and are not engaged in activities that could cause harm or damage the organization’s reputation.

Screening is conducted before engagement, with ongoing monitoring to identify any changes in risk status over time. By applying these standards consistently, Iguality ensures that it collaborates only with responsible, reputable, and ethical entities, safeguarding the organization’s mission and the communities it serves.
