Safeguarding & Crisis Situations

Your safety and your Buddy's safety always come first.

If you ever experience or witness something that concerns you - harassment, disclosure of abuse, signs of crisis, or anything that doesn't feel right - do not hesitate to act:

• Report immediately to the Iguality coordination team
• Flag it in your session log by marking it as a safeguarding concern
• If you are unsure whether something needs reporting, err on the side of reporting - we would always rather know

For crisis situations - such as your Buddy disclosing suicidal thoughts, abuse, or immediate danger - the same applies: contact the coordination team immediately. Do not try to manage it alone.
