Our psychology internship

Learn while making a social impact

This internship offers a great opportunity to get experience with the nonprofit sector and one-to-one counselling, and working in an innovative, grassroot NGO. You will mainly operate within the main program of Iguality, the Mental Health Program, and you will be active in both field-work as well as in other departments of the NGO like awareness raising and research.

And a nice add-on, we will share events and training activities with you that you can join during your internship, both online and in-person.

Important information for applicants

Important note: Iguality is a small and young organisation, and for now built on the dedication of volunteers. We can offer a great learning opportunity, but we don’t offer a regular internship experience with a daily work routine in an office.

A fairly large part of the work will be carried out online (apart from counselling), and meetings with other team members will be partly based on how proactive you will be yourself. This requires a lot of independence, but you will also learn how to work flexible hours and create your own work routine.

Required Erasmus+ support

It’s important to know that as volunteer-run organisation, we will ask you to have Erasmus+ or other internship/traineeship funding to make your stay in Barcelona possible.
