Starting a case

Last updated: September 7, 2025 at 11:26

When a patient is approved, they are added to our waiting list. Once it’s their turn, we start the matching process.

Step 1: Matching

You’ll receive a message from our team with basic (anonymous) info about a patient. If you're available and feel it's a good match, we move forward.

Step 2: Agreement

We send a therapy agreement to the patient, which outlines how the support works. Here the patient also confirms they understand and agree to the process.

Step 3: Receiving details

Once the agreement is completed, we send you full patient info:

  • Screening summary
  • Emergency contact
  • Medication (if any)
  • Any relevant background

Keep in mind: the screening may have happened months earlier. In your first session, treat it like a fresh start — ask questions as if you’re hearing it all for the first time.

Step 4: Scheduling

Use the patient’s contact info to reach out — WhatsApp is usually the fastest. If you don’t hear back within two days, follow up. If there's still no response, let us know so we can help.
