PsicoRed Information

Last updated: September 7, 2025 at 11:26

At Iguality, we recognize that not everyone faces the same financial barriers when accessing mental health support. While our primary mission focuses on providing free care to individuals who cannot afford therapy, we sometimes receive requests from people who, although not in critical financial difficulty, still find standard private therapy fees unaffordable.

To bridge this gap, we developed PsicoRed — a platform connecting clients to licensed therapists who offer psychotherapy at a reduced rate of €35 per session. This initiative helps Iguality prioritize free support for those with the least resources, while still ensuring broader access to affordable care.

Important:

  • Therapists within PsicoRed are independent professionals who manage their own practices.
  • Services offered through PsicoRed are completely separate from Iguality; we simply facilitate the initial connection by providing information.
  • All therapy agreements are made directly between the therapist and the client.

Joining PsicoRed as a Therapist

We welcome Iguality volunteer therapists who are willing and able to offer psychotherapy at the reduced PsicoRed rate.

Requirements to join:

  • Hold a recognized psychology degree with official validation (homologación).
  • Have the required healthcare accreditation (habilitación sanitaria) to practice psychotherapy in Spain.

How it works:

  1. Complete the registration form to provide your public information for the platform.
  2. After review and approval, you will be added to PsicoRed.
  3. Clients seeking affordable therapy can contact you directly through the platform.

If you are interested in joining or want more information, please contact Iguality’s coordination team. Offering this additional pathway to support extends the impact of our work — creating more accessible mental health care for all.
