Getting Started: Onboarding Process

Last updated: September 7, 2025 at 11:26

Before becoming an active sports volunteer, you'll go through a simple and supportive onboarding process to help you feel confident and connected from the start.

  • It begins with an informal conversation or interview, where we get to know you—your interests, motivations, and any relevant experience you bring. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and better understand what the role involves.
  • Next, you'll complete our online onboarding, which gives you a clear overview of Iguality’s mission, values, and how our sports activities are run. This step ensures you’re aligned with the spirit of our work and familiar with key expectations.
  • Afterward, you'll be invited to join one of our existing sessions—either football or running—as a participant. This allows you to observe the atmosphere, meet other volunteers, and get a sense of the group dynamic.
  • Once you feel comfortable, you can gradually begin co-facilitating or assisting with a session.

You’ll never be expected to lead on your own right away. We’re here to support you step by step, and your involvement will grow at your own pace, with guidance from the team whenever needed.
