Communication with Beneficiaries

Last updated: September 7, 2025 at 11:26

How you interact with the people you support varies depending on their needs and the sensitivity of the situation. Sometimes you will communicate directly with beneficiaries via WhatsApp or email, especially when ongoing contact is necessary for your care work. This direct connection helps build trust and ensures clarity in the support you provide.
In other cases, communication happens indirectly through Iguality staff, who coordinate and safeguard sensitive information. This approach helps protect everyone’s privacy and wellbeing, especially in more vulnerable or complex cases.
We always tailor communication to what is safest and most appropriate. If you’re unsure how to communicate in a specific situation, your coordinator is there to guide you and make sure the process respects both your limits and the beneficiary’s needs.
