At Iguality, we believe mental health and social wellbeing go hand in hand. Sports and group activities offer far more than physical benefits—they break isolation, reduce stress, build confidence, and create community. For many people who face exclusion, discrimination, or instability, coming to a football match or a running group can be the first step in rebuilding trust, connection, and a sense of belonging.
Our sports activities are open to everyone—beneficiaries of Iguality, volunteers, partner organizations, and anyone who finds us online. While we center marginalized communities in everything we do, the openness of these activities allows people from all walks of life to meet and connect. This mix is intentional: it helps foster empathy, equality, and shared humanity. Our sports sessions also create a bridge to other services—we often refer participants to our psychosocial care, and likewise invite people already receiving support to join our physical and social activities.
