Communication methods and key contacts

Last updated: September 7, 2025 at 11:26

At Iguality, we have a small but supportive coordination team that is always available to help you whenever you need it. You are also free to communicate with other volunteer therapists.

Communication methods

At Iguality, we use three main communication methods to keep you updated and connected. Each method has a specific purpose to help streamline communication and ensure you have the information you need when you need it.

  • WhatsApp: We have separate WhatsApp groups for Spanish and English speakers, where we share key information and updates related to your volunteering activities. Important: Only the coordination team can share information in these groups, so you won’t receive any unnecessary messages or spam!
  • Email: We use email for communicating detailed information regarding your screenings, cases, and important updates about Iguality’s activities. You may also receive occasional big updates about changes to the organization or new initiatives.
  • Slack: Slack is a platform you will receive an invite to. It's similar to WhatsApp, but offers more flexibility for connecting with other volunteers and interacting with the broader Iguality community in a more dynamic way. You can use it to chat with fellow volunteers, ask questions, or share resources in a professional yet relaxed environment.

Main contacts

Luciana – Community Manager
You will be in contact with Luciana the most. She manages all patient assignments, cases, and coordination with volunteer therapists. Reach her easily via WhatsApp (number available in the WhatsApp group description) or on Slack.

Alex – Clinical Supervisor
You’ll mainly interact with Alex during weekly group supervisions, where you can discuss your cases, doubts, and receive clinical support. Reach him via WhatsApp (number available in the WhatsApp group description) or on Slack.

Vincent – General Coordinator
Although you’ll see Vincent a bit less, he’s always in the background making sure everything runs smoothly. If you have any opportunity, idea, or need help with anything that Luciana or Alex can't support you with, Vincent is the person to reach out to. Reach him via WhatsApp (number available in the WhatsApp group description) or on Slack.

If you're doubting who to reach out, have a look at our Contact Tree here.

Emergency Contact Information

In case of a serious emergency involving a patient and you cannot reach us through the usual communication channels, please send a message to both of our emergency numbers via WhatsApp. These emergency numbers are also listed in the description of our WhatsApp group.
