Iguality is deeply committed to supporting anyone who experiences or is affected by sexual harassment. We recognize that the impact of such experiences can be emotional, psychological, and physical, and that every individual's healing journey is unique.
As part of our survivor-centered approach, Iguality will:
- Prioritize the survivor’s wellbeing at every stage of the reporting, investigation, and response process.
- Offer access to emotional support, including referrals to qualified mental health professionals, counselling services, or psychosocial support as appropriate.
- Provide practical assistance where needed, such as adjustments to work duties, workspace, or schedules to ensure the survivor feels safe and supported.
- Respect the survivor’s choices regarding how they wish to proceed, including how much they want to be involved in the investigation or follow-up steps.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the survivor’s privacy throughout the process, disclosing information only when necessary to protect safety or comply with legal obligations.
- Ensure non-retaliation, protecting survivors and witnesses from any form of retaliation or discrimination as a result of raising a concern.
- Offer information about external resources, including crisis services, legal support, or survivor advocacy organizations, if additional help is needed or desired.
Support options will be discussed with the survivor based on their individual needs, preferences, and consent. No one is ever obligated to accept support if they do not wish to.
